8 Terabyte Hard Drive

fdisk -l returns this for all drives :
So it looks like the readyNAS use GPT addressing so you are good for some time in drive limits... 9.4 ZetaBytes... I think there is some room for 8Tb drives...

There might be some other concern for compatibility though. Anyway you are stuck with HCL if you want official support.
