Access to the admin webpage
HI Everyone I have a ReadyNas since 2012. I had in the past some difficulty to access to the admin page because of error message (website not sure, invalid certificate, expired certificate and so...

What model ReadyNAS do you own, and what firmware are you running?
The admin access issue is likely because your NAS doesn't support TLS 1.2 (which most browsers now require). The workaround is to use FireFox, and set security.tls.version.min to 1 (browse to about:config and search for the setting). There are some other things you might be able to do, but the details depends on the model and firmware.

No, that won't work. You can re-use the drives if they are healthy, but the data will be lost. Note Synology has been locking their newest platforms to only accept Synology-branded drives. They are in the process of reversing that, so be sure you are runnning DSM 7.3 (just released).
But if these are old drives, then you should consider getting new ones. Likely you'd need fewer large ones - though if you don't have a large volume, you could go with an NVME model (though I don't think Synology has a "pure" one at the moment, they do have some hybrid models with NVME slots).

I already try to set up security.tls.version.min to 1 but did not solve the access.
I have a Readynas duo v1 with the last version firmware (version V4.2.28)
So there is not a simple solution to change NAS by just re-using my HDs. I need to buy a full brand new NAS with HDs and copy the content of the old ones to the new ones?
As everything is running smooth I would prefer keeping my Readynas.
thanks for your help

No on both counts. The Duo v1 runs 4.1.x firmware (latest being 4.1.16), and the latest firmware for 4.2.x systems is 4.2.31.
If you have a Duo, then the front panel either says ReadyNAS Duo or ReadyNAS Duo v2
If the front panel just says ReadyNAS then look for a label that includes one of these model numbers:
- RNDP2000
- RNDP200U
- RNDU2000
Let us know what you find - it's important to be clear on the model number.
You should also install RAIDar on a PC, as it will give us a bit more information on what is wrong.
If you need Java, you can get it from here:
Note that RAIDar will not run on a Mac with an M series processor (it only runs on Intel).

Too early to tell that.
Do you have a backup of your files? Or are they only on the NAS?

No, most vendors don't offer a direct HDD and storage pool migration from 3rd party systems like the ReadyNAS.
Synology became even more restrictive for using "generic" HDD and/or SSD -> https://kb.synology.com/en-uk/DSM/tutorial/Drive_compatibility_policies
