Additional Memory?

It will take up to 8GB (2x4GB) of RAM. Memory upgrades are not supported. If your replacement modules cause data corruption NetGear can and will refuse to help recover your data.
If you still want to go ahead you would need modules with the same physical layout and specs as the stock module. There are some suggestions in the Community Hardware Compatibility List for Memory.
Be sure to run at least a few passes of the memory test before trusting the new memory. Even then it may pass and still be incompatible. Take a look at the boot menu: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu
