Which model ReadyNAS do you have and whch Firmware have you re-installed
- StephenBFeb 01, 2017Guru - Experienced User
Newer ReadyNAS (firmware 5.x.x and 6.x.x) use admin/password as the default.
Older NAS (firmware 4.1.x and 4.2.x) use admin/netgear1 as the default. A very old ReadyNAS might use admin/infrant1

Hey there StephenB,
Thank you so much, I forgot to mention the firmware... indeed it was the default passwoord for the 4.1.x ...
Thanks!

That's the default password for RAIDiator 3.x and earlier. I think RAIDiator 4 was released late 2007 if I recall correctly.

Hello everybody. Same thing for me, after installation of new harddiscs via RAIDar it's impossible to get connected (I am under Mac OS). I use the mentionned admin/password, as well as the previous ones I had, but nothing works and the support is closed to me as my RN10400 is too old for them.
Anyone can help ? Thank you
