If ever you have a Duo v1, I understand that the drives listed that are compatible for the Duo v1 are kinda obsolete nowadays. I believe that you could use a new drive of any brand that is available in the market. However, you could not go beyond 2TB of drive capacity because the Duo v1 does not support GPT partitioning.
