As posted several times now: Netgear always releases firmware for manual installation first. After a lag of 1-2 weeks it is put on the update servers, and will show up in "check for updates".
You can either wait for that to happen, or manually install it from https://kb.netgear.com/000064345/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Software-Version-6-10-6
