Unfortunately APC chooses to use a cable (AP9827) that has a male RJ45 connector on one end and a USB type A male on the other. This may be to allow for other types of signaling however it mostly serves to be a source of revenue should you lose your cable. If you look on the diagram:

You would connect this cable to the 'data' port:
