How to back up configuration

Hi, newbie here with first post. I have two GS724Tv4 switches at home which I have set up and are working fine. I want to back up the configuration as I have set up STP to work due to many Sonos components on the network. I try to back up through the Smart Control Centre, go to maintenance, select Upload Configuration and it doesn't work. In the Tasks on the Smart Control Centre it shows File transfer timeout. I would be grateful for any help.

    Hi Luis，
    Smart Control Center show time out maybe the version is not last.
    You can download SCC new version try again.

    In addition,can download configuration file on switch GUI.
    1.Use Smart Control Center discovery the switch IP address.
    2.Login switch GUI.
    3.Backup configuation file on "Maintenance->Upload->Http file upload",save the "text configuration".
    4.Restore congiguration file on "Maintenance->Download".

      Hi Dan

      Thank you for your response and help.

      The version of SCC I have is 1.1.3.4 which I believe is the latest version as I downloaded it from the latest GS724Tv4 downloads page.

       

      I followed your intructions to carry the task out from the GUI and it saved a file called 'start-up config' Is that what I should expect to see?

        Hi Luis,
        The 'start-up config' is the configuration file. You can save it,then restore it to other GS724Tv4.
