APC Backup-UPS ES 400
Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows if this UPS, APC Backup-UPS ES 400, is recognised with the ReadyNAS. On the compatibility list, Back-UPS ES 500, is mentioned as being ok. I presume there is a US...

I can't tell from the spec. I've been looking for that dats port but there doesn't seem to be any mention of it. Here's the spec for it: http://www.ebuyer.com/113906-apc-back-u ... s-be400-uk. I checked on the APC site, http://www.apc.com/products/resource/in ... _watts=200, and there is no software or cable.
However, if I got to the next one, http://www.ebuyer.com/196269-apc-back-u ... -be550g-uk, then this one does have software and a cable. Again, checking on the APC site, http://www.apc.com/products/resource/in ... _watts=200, it seems to confirm it.
So, it looks as it has to be the 550 which is also on the compatibility list. I think I'll give it a try and report back.
