The real deal is that this topic is confusing. All V2s are ARM, but it is not that easy to tell V1s from V2s. mdgm has a useful article here: How to tell whether I have a Duo v1 or Duo v2 or NV+ v1 or NV+ v2. I guess the bottom line is that you only thought you bought a Duo v2. If you are still within the return period of your supplier, maybe you can exchange it.

Shortly after buying it, plans changed and I got all excited when I read the hardwear compatibility list as it indicated I could use 3TB disks provided I was running a certain firmware level for ARM procs. I checked the firm on my device only to find out that it is running sparc and the hardware compatibility list for sparc does not support 3tb disks.
The suggestion on some of posts is that all V2's are arm which does not appear to be accurate. Does anybody know what the real deal is with SPARC v ARM on DUO V2?
Thx all
