Asterisk app can't install on RR2304
Dear All,
I am using 4 Netgear NAS all are same, RR2304. Recently my NAS OS got faulty, So i reinstalled OS manually. After manual reinstall i can't install ASTERISK app from available app list. Then i manually try to install. But failed. I changed the firmware many old & newer versions... Nothing Worked. Please some one help

The short version of the story behind this issue is that the Debian commmunity has deprecated Debian 8 ("Jessie") and moved the repositories to their archives. There are some changes you can make manually to the NAS to allow you to continue to install packages. See post 37 here:
The instructions in that post assume you are running 6.10.9 firmware which you can find here:
Or of course adapt the patch for your version of the OS.
- Netgear should host its own Jessie repo. Otherwise, people will come back asking the same question all the time. It is abusing your time.
An updated firmware should be made available to reflect all the changes happened lately.
And the OS 6.10.9 still not in the update server.

FWIW, some of us are seeing some risk that in the future they will take down their current repos. I've used apt-mirror to gather all the repos (Debian and Netgear) onto my NAS.
