Back-UPS ES550UK: setup with ReadyNAS Duo v2. (Powerchute?)
I've just invested in the above UPS to go with my ReadyNAS Duo, having just learned to my cost that to use a one without a UPS in place is a Bad Idea :x however, am struggling a bit to get it set up ...

Aarghh - of course, the Duo 2 is an ARM device isn't it - hence the 'bad architecture' message.[/quote]
Anyway I've just tested it out using the apparently forum-approved method (plugging the NAS directly into the mains while leaving its USB cable hooked up to the UPS, and then disconnecting the UPS from the mains): the NAS duly powered itself down after about 30 mins, while the other devices hooked up to the UPS remained working. The shutdown event was recorded in the logs so presumably was appropriately 'graceful'.
I guess in the absence of an add-on there's no way to configure any of this stuff; I just use it 'out of the box'.
Thanks for the advice
