Best DVR for use with ReadyNAS

getting a tivo won't necessarily allow you to ditch your cable or bill. it simply records whatever channels you give it (cable or over the air).
as far as I know, the tivo is the only commericial device that allows for external nas storage.
you may or may not find some solutions involving building your own, but thats not anything that is specific to readynas.
