Best DVR for use with ReadyNAS

Note that I am based in the UK and this post relates to the Virgin Media TIVO box.
Virgin Media have recently released a firmware update for the TIVO box. One feature within the update is that the ethernet port has been enabled.
I have now connected my TIVO box to my home network and an ip address has been assigned to my TIVO box.
I can access the TIVO box from a browser but all it shows is the list of programmes on the TIVO box. I can't seem to do anything else with them.
I have enabled ReadyDNLA on my ReadyNas Pro and enabled TIVO support. That's about as far as I've got.
I cannot see my ReadyNas from the TIVO box
and
I cannot see my TIVO box from my ReadyNas
I would be great if I could access and play movies from my ReadyNas on my TV via the TIVO box. I guess the TIVO box would act as a DNLA player.
Has anyone got any further on this or any suggestions....
