btsync can't save settings?
Hi,
I did install btsync and it did work perfect, I did intall the latest version from the dropbox of the dev.
Did run it for 2-3 days, then I rebooted the NAS and after reboot btsync forgets the settings.
Do some one know how to fix it?
I have tried Factory reset, I have tried it with 6.1.5 and 6.1.6 but the same issue is still there.

- super_poussinVirtuosoFor me the last version in Dropbox should solve this
- devosTutorNot for me sadly :(
Is there any work a round on this issue? - super_poussinVirtuosoCan you check is the share (btsync) is writable by everyone ?
- devosTutorHi again,
Yes that folder have the permission that everyone can read / write in to it.
When the config is reset after a reboot of the NAS the uploaded files are still there, but nothing else.
It also happens if I just restart the BTsync without restarting the NAS. - super_poussinVirtuosocan you try the new 1.2.82 version in my dropbox ?
- devosTutorI have that one installed.
The troubleshooting steps that I have done:
• factory reset from frontview
• re-install OS from boot menu
• factory reset from boot menu
• made sure that btsync folder have settings so everyone can read and write from it.
• tried 6.1.5
• tried 6.1.6 rc9
Still same issue.
Issue:
Config file is getting reset after rebooting device and also when I restart the application.
Just the setting file, the sync files are still there and it works perfect to sync etc untill i restart or reboot. - devosTutorThis is driving me crazy now I even did SSH root in to the NAS and did write: chmod -R 777 /data/btsync . That did not work either.
Does btsync store the config file somewhere else?
I can se it in /data/btsync/config but I want the webUI so I don't want to play around in it.
Edit: Tried to chmod -R 777 on the /apps/btsync folder also, no luck there either.
Edit2:
Here is the permissions on the folder, any suggestion what I should change it to as it might work?
lrwxrwxrwx 1 guest guest 19 Jan 15 08:13 config -> /apps/btsync/config
drwxrwxrwx+ 1 guest guest 0 Jan 15 08:13 shared
drwxrwxrwx+ 1 admin admin 22 Jan 15 08:43 Sync
And please post the command line, my linux skills is kind of out now. - super_poussinVirtuosothat work fine for me with the standard install, very strange
- devosTutorI did just past the permissions for the folder above this post.
- devosTutorIt do seem as the config folder and file have an other permission then the rest of them, how can I change so they have the same?
