Can I still use old READYNAS NV+ RND4000 and my Readynas 100NAS RN10200 with WINDOWS 11??
I found three old NAS that I bought years ago. Question: Are they compatible/secure with windows 11? Are there firmware updates/software available to use them?? Or should I pull the drives and junk all three at goodwill?
Tnx,

Both are at end-of-live, but the RN100 system is much newer than the RND4000.
IMO both are still safe to use on a home network.
With the RND4000, you will need to enable SMB 1/CIFS using "turn windows features on or off". You will also need to make some changes to access the NAS web ui. There is a long discussion thread on that here:

RND4000 NV+: Final firmware is 4.1.16
RND4000 NV+ v2: Final firmware is 5.3.13
RND100 series: current firmware is 6.10.10. But if you are upgrading from very old firmware, make sure you read the release notes. You might need to install some intermediate updates, and not directly install 6.10.10.
