Can the Readynas Shutdown via UPS from cyberpower systems?

Hello.

I was wondering if I purchased a UPS from cyberpower systems such as a CP685AVR with a USB interface, if the Readynas would be able to shut down when there is a power outage. I have ready other topics on this forum from way back in 2006 discussing possible testing some patches,etc..

Generally, I know it will work with APC models however it was said that sometimes a UPS manufecturer will do things a little differenty.

If anyone here know about the Cyberpower systems UPS and how they work with the Readynas NV+, I would sure appreciate it.

Thanks for your help.

I have two CyberPower CP1350AVRLCD units, which work fine with my v1 duo and nv+, as well as my pro-6.

That is great news! Is your NV+ a version 1?

    Thanks.

Yes, Though the UPS USB is connected to the Duo v1, and monitored remotely by the NV+ v1.

I don't recall if I ever had it directly connected to the NV+'s USB port. But If it works with the Duo, it should work with the NV+, the firmware is the same.
