Can you Install Windows 2008
Hi,
can you install Windows 2008 on a Ultra4 Ready Nas, replacing the Linux OS.

- No you cannot replace RAIDiator with a 3rd party OS e.g. Windows. Any damage from attempting to do this would void the warranty.
I noticed a ReadyNAS bundled with OEM Windows Server a while back too. I was surprised that Newegg offered such a bundle.
Anyway the NV+ v2 (RND4000-200) is ARM which isn't compatible with Windows. - okay thanks..perhaps newegg offer the Windows licence to install on a server and NAS for storage.
- If that was the case then they should have bundled it with the server. OEM software is only licensed to be sold with new hardware that it is compatible with.
