can't print file stored on ReadyNAS
I have an HP 4345 mpf printer with a static IP on my network. I also have a ReadyNAS Ultra4 with a heap of files on it. The printer is not connected directly to the ReadyNAS, but to a switch in anothe...
If I open (with MS Word on my PC) a Word file (*.doc) that is stored on the NAS, I cannot print it. If I copy the same file to the HD of my PC and then open it with MS Word, I can print it.
I was wondering if the printer driver needed to be installed on the NAS somehow...
