Clicking sound with Seagate Barracuda LP ST32000542AS 2TB

Seems I only hit the forums when I am in need of something. As I did today. While here, I glanced at this old post and thought I would give an update for those few that might land here for one reason or another. My NV+ has been running non-stop powered up since 2007 with no issues. It has been a great, reliable machine for our home environment. The Seagate Barracuda LP ST32000542AS 2TB are the second set of disks this unit has had, they replaced the Seagate 750 GB the unit came with from Infrant. Since my last post over two years ago on this issue, the T32000542AS have been running without any issues and no further clicking or metallic noises. They have continually run without powering down or spin-down. They currently have almost 19,000 power on hours. Turned out to be good drives after all.
