Compatible 3 TB HD
Has anyone used the disks below and you know if they would be combatible with a 2100? They are not on the official compatibility list, but they are so much cheaper.
Thanks

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredEnterprise disks with rotational vibration safeguard are what should be used in rackmount models. NetGear can and will deny support if you choose to use drives outside the list. Is it really worth risking your data by using drives that are not suitable for your device?
Now with a NAS like the 2100 you can possibly get away with using drives like the one you mentioned, but certainly not in the 12-bay models. - mr_t1AspirantMessage received. Thanks for your help mdgm.
