Connecting mac book air with Lion to NAS NV+ directly
My NV+ was working fine through my router and an old macbook 2008 - now I got an air with lion and updated the firmware on the NAS as required and attempted a direct link from the NAS to the macbook a...
I have set up my NAS in the "Share" security mode so there is only one "admin" account.
I have two shares set up only:
"relisuco"
"storage"
the system automatically added a third share "media".
Frontview is accessible through safari at:
https://192.168.168.168/admin/
IPV4 is manually set up however with :
IP address being: 192.168.168.10
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
If I hit "setup" on Raidar it takes me to:
https://192.168.168.168/admin/
and I can see front view all right.
If I type into safari;
https://192.168.168.10/admin/
It says page not loaded. it cannot find front view.
I can attach some pics showing my windows and status for your reference if you give me an email I don't think I can send them through here..
Main problems are:
1) why is the Relisuco share empty (it has 180 GB of data)
2) I cannot find the "Storage" share - it does not show up in HomeHKNAS(AFP)
