The info comes from the UPS itself. Maybe let it run longer and see what happens.
One thing you can do is connect the NAS to the wall outlet, but keep the USB connected to the UPS. Then connect a load to the UPS (such as an incandescent lamp) and pull the plug on the UPS.
When the UPS runs down, the NAS should shut down safely.
