Degraded Volume? #24527711
I have a RN102 that has two 1 TB drives and they are closed to be full, so I bought 2 3TB drives and installed one in the second bay and it synced up fine, but it duplicated the same size drive, so the 3 TB is now a 1 TB drive and it states in the web base software that it is a 1 TB drive, but the screen (picture of the drives) shows a 3 TB. I have since put the 2nd drive in the first bay and it works fine, but the size of the drive is 1 TB, I'm hoping that there is a way to resize the drive and keep the files.
Any help would be helpful..
Thanks

- glamismanAspirantI opened the file and that's what it had in it.
Thanks - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredCertainly if you have the time there would be some benefit to doing a factory reset, but that shouldn't be necessary.
- glamismanAspirantDid the file above tell you anything?
Thanks - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYes. See above.
New shares created on 6.2.x on the 102 have CoW disabled and snapshots disabled by default. It is a good idea to be selective as to which shares to use these features with. Not all use cases work well with CoW or snapshots.
