Disk drive diagnostic tool are they definitive ?
Hi All Can anyone let me know if the disk drive diagnostic tools are definitive. If I run the Western Digital Data LifeGuard Diagnostics tool on my 4 x 2Tb WD-20EARS CAVIAR GREEN 2TB 64MB 7200 SA...

It's all part of an ongoing issue I have with my NV + not booting which I have a thred running here for : viewtopic.php?f=20&t=58275
Just trying to elimate as much as possible. 3 of the 4 drives have been tested so far and all have passed, just disk 1 to go , but didn't look at the increasing reallocated sectors part. So will have to put them all back in and have a look once disk one has finished. (7 hours to go :-( ) thanks for the info yes I am on 4.1.7. The disk are only 10 month old just find it hard to believe 4 disk fail at the same time, but looks like there ok ..... Maybe.
Once this disk is done I'll pull the report for each disk and post them here, so you can see if that's ok , if thats ok .If you get a spare min to have a look at my main issue that would also be most appreciated :-)
