Disk Test Status

Hi, I have started a disk test on my Readynas 626x. It has 6 drives of 6 TB each in X-raid. There is about 4TB of free space left. I have been having issues with small files corrupting on the NAS. ...

    The web ui doesn't give progress.  You can get some idea with ssh, using smartctl -a /dev/sdX (using the appropriate drive letter for the disk you want to get the status for).

     

    Every sector of every drive in the volume is read, so it does take a while. And if a disk isn't healthy, it will take longer...

     

    What model disks are you using?

    Have you looked in the logs for disk errors?
