Drives for Surveillance

I've got a Readynas 516 with 5 x WD Red 4TB drives in it currently. Setup is Raid 6.

The hoodlamns in my neighbor hood have taken to throwing fruit at my house and cutting my christmas lights. <sigh> teenagers <sigh> (i swear i'm not an old man!! i'm only 35!) LOL

Anyways, I'm gonna have a go with the Netgear Survelance app with 1-2 IP cameras. Should I bet at all worried I have Red drives instead of Purple? Should I get put a purple in my 6th drive and set it to be it's own volume? Or do you think red is sufficient for only 1-2 cameras?

I think the Reds will be fine.  If you want to keep the surveillance on its own volume, you certainly could add in a purple drive and configure it as jbod.  But I wouldn't do that because I was worried about the Reds.
