Duo power supply failure
The external PSU has failed after very little use, is this a common fault and should I replace it with a 3rd party one? 12V 5A Model DSA-60W-12 1 12060 It's a cheap Chinese one so probably can't be ...

Thanks PapaBear (cool name), yes it's out of warranty, hardly used but that's besides the point I guess.
I've never been a fan of switched mode power supplies.
There's an open circuit across the AC input pins so I suspect it got too hot and melted a joint, just a guess.
I'll send an email to Netgear UK and see if they reply, failing that, I'll start Googling.
Like you say, it's can't be that common or this forum would have been full of it.
