ELC Shared folder not visible on Mac desktop using SMB
Hi there. I have recently linked my ReadyNas 314 to my Egnyte Cloud Account which requires all data to be stored in the ELC/Shared folder order to sync to the Egnyte Cloud. I have two problems:
1. I can see the contents of the ELC/Shared folder through the Admin page in my browser, but the contents are not visible on my Mac desktop. The Shared folder says I don't have access permission even though I have set all permissions to 'everyone'.
2. I also would like to set unique permissions to the folders inside the ELC/Shared folder. How do I do this?

Try using the "reset" control on the file access page. That will reset all the files and subfolders to match the configured file permissions.

These needs to be done with file permissions, not network permissions. You do this from the Mac (finder) not from the NAS web ui. In Windows, you'd right-click on the file/folder and set the file permisisons. I'm not a Mac user, so I don't know the equivalent steps there.
