Exclude Recyle Bin from backup
Ok
So I have four basic shares on my Duo v2
Pictures, video, music & work
I backup the Pictures, Music and work shares to an external usb drive and also the Pictures to your vault backup.
Within each of these shares I've enabled the recyle bin.
On the Vault backup I can exclude the recyle bin.
How do I exclude this from the Frontview backup? All I seem to have is the option to backup the whole share. :?
I'm not too fussed about an "include/exclude" file list but I was expecting a simple tick box "include recyle bin (if enabled) in each backup plan

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI don't think there's any option on ARM to configure and include/exclude list unfortunately.
- BMachAspirantPersonally I use the following strategy to backup my media excluding the recycle bin
The media share has a sub directory data
The recycle bin is then a sister of data as the recycle bin is a sub directory of media.
I map data to my computer and therefore I do not see the recycle bin. If I need it I have to go looking for the device and then can access the recycle bin
The important part is then to backup only the data subdirectories.
The problem with this is that a user with limited knowledge and rights may not know there is are cycle bin - devilsrearAspirant

No worries - but can we add it as a request??
