failure to stay online
Hi I'm the proud owner of a readynas duo and have been for some time. But now i'm sad. My NAS keep dropping of the network an I can only connect if I shut it down with the power button and restart...

Once a disk has been added to the volume, the NAS will keep looking for it or a replacement once it has been removed. X-Raid means expandable Raid, not contractible raid. The only way to get it to quit looking for the missing drive is to either replace it, or back up your Duo completely and perform a factory default and then restore the data from the backup.
You could also be encountering problems with the remaining drive. I would make sure you have a current and complete backup of the data, and then shut down the unit and run the vendor tools on your drive to make sure it is not failing. You should also check the logs found under the status button. You should have alerts enabled to send you an e-mail in case there are problems with the drive or the unit.
What version of RAIDiator are you running? (Found in the far right column of RAIDar).
