Fan speed on ReadyNAS 1500
I have borrowed a ReadyNAS 1500 with 4 x 4TB drives installed as I need to move some big amounts of data around.
However, running the ReadyNAS 1500 in my little office is extremely annoying as the fans run so fast. I know the 1500 is a rackmount solution, and built to run cool, and hence the fans run fast, but isn't there something I can do about it? I see that there is a fan control for the 2100, but I don't know if that would work on the 1500? Or failing that, is there anything I can do to slow down the fans?
