File system question
I have a Stora NAS which is dead, I would now like to replace it with a ReadyNAS Duo V2. How do I transfer my data? From what I understand these products use different file systems? /Stefan
You will need to transfer the data across the network, either from backup or by getting the Stora working again. You cannot take the disk from the Stora and install it into the ReadyNAS, although you may be able to mount it in your computer using various tools and then copy the data over the network to the new ReadyNAS.
I'm not familiar with the Stora (it's a different product line than the ReadyNAS and not supported under these forums).
