forgot share password
Hi Guys
Haven’t touched Nas in years, been working for family with no problem, lost connection to shared drives had to format Pc, Now can remember password to access drives
Can access Nas but struggling to access shared drives how do i change password or remove all on home network
Need to access family files form Nas

Can you tell us what firmware you are running?
Also, just to make sure I understand your previous post: You are able to log into the NAS admin web page?

You can, of course, just use the admin credentials to access the shares. But if you prefer not to (and there are some reasons not to), you can use your admin access to the GUI to simply change the password for the user name you want to use to something you'll now remember. There are not separate passwords for different shares, per se. Access is by user. Each user has permissions to read or write to specific shares. If you are using a personal share, then only the user who owns it and admin have rights in it.
