Get data off disk from Ultra 2 Plus #24995059

If I take a disk from an Ultra 2 Plus and put it into a USB enclosure, how can I get the data from that disk onto a Windows box?
Box is unresponsive, so want to take a backup of the data. (I have a backup anyway of the data, but still want to duplicate the existing disk).

Your software would need to be able to handle md raid, lvm and ext4.

Easy to do with an ordinary Linux machine assuming the disks and array etc. are fine.

Not got a Linux box handy - any idea if it will work through a Virtualbox Linux VM?

It may, but that does depend on how you connect the disks up to that VM (i.e. what hardware you use) etc.
