Get data off disk from Ultra 2 Plus #24995059
If I take a disk from an Ultra 2 Plus and put it into a USB enclosure, how can I get the data from that disk onto a Windows box?
Box is unresponsive, so want to take a backup of the data. (I have a backup anyway of the data, but still want to duplicate the existing disk).

Easy to do with an ordinary Linux machine assuming the disks and array etc. are fine. - adb1Aspirant

Not got a Linux box handy - any idea if it will work through a Virtualbox Linux VM? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIt may, but that does depend on how you connect the disks up to that VM (i.e. what hardware you use) etc.
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserA linux boot cd is perhaps another option.
