Hardware of NV+ and Duo
Hi, I want to prepare myself against hardware failure of my readynas NV+ and for this I need some advice and information. My idea is, if not the drives fail but the printboard or the single LAN-...
It's not a bad idea to get a spare unit. You would need to be careful to buy a Sparc version of the NV+ I.e. the v1 version not the v2 version. Likewise be sure you buy a Sparc Duo. Even with a sparc Duo, it would only be compatible if you have no more than 2 disks in your existing NV+.
Also make sure you have a backup of all your data just in case.
