HD resyncing on Ultra 2 takes >100 hours after upgrading to OS6?

Hi,

Yesterday I updated one of my ReadyNAS Ultra2's to OS6, just as decribed here:

http://netgear.nas-central.org/wiki/OS6_on_Legacy_x86

The upgrade to OS6 was succesfull, however 1 of the 2Tb HD's is resyncing and the estimated time is >100 hours to finish the resync.

(I can access the admin webpage on OS6, and can see the resync information)

is this a normal time to do a resync for 2x 2Tb harddisks on OS6 with a ReadyNAS Ultra2?

  • It sounds excessive (and the estimate might not be right).  Perhaps let it run to completion, and let us know how long it actually takes.

Did you check/update your Bios in 4.2 before upgrading?

        Hi,

I checked the firmware before updating to OS6.

        The firmware was v1.8.

the resyncing process is around 20% now after 24 hours.
