This is a chart which is a follow up to myself mentioning WD drives are not as reliable as i had previously thought

Quitte frankly, without any more information on what the data represents, that chart is absolutely meaningless. Is that just failures, without regard to drive age? If so, maybe the ones with higher failure rates are just older. The WD drives are also under-represented in the population, so a couple of random infant mortalities will have a greater impact on the average than in the brands with more. And what is the useage? Similar to yours, or vastly different? If vastly different, is the statistic even relevant? Are all similar types of drives (size, consumer/enterprise, low power, etc)? Same as you use?
Beware of statistics. The great thing about statistics is that there are so many of them. You can pick and choose the ones you want that seem to enforce your position.
