Hitachi Deskstar & Ultrastar 5K3000 compatible with NV+ v2 ?
I plan to buy a ReadyNAS NV+ v2 RND4000 and thinking about the drives to put in there.
Looking at the harddisk compatibility list (http://www.readynas.com/?page_id=82), when selecting the ReadyNAS NV+ v2, I noticed the Hitachi Deskstar and Ultrastar 5K3000 are not in there (both models are 3TB 5400 rpm). Is this intentional, or is the compatibility list outdated and are these models actually supported just fine by this NAS?
Especially the CoolSpin on the 5K3000 models would be a reason for me to prefer them over a 7200 rpm (i.e. 7K3000) drive.
