HITACHI Deskstar 5K3000 HDS5C3020ALA632 (0F12117)
Has anyone tried these? I'm looking into the upgrading my NAS and I'm limited to 512k sectors unless I want to do a factory reset, which would be an unbelievable amount of work given the disk juggling...
I slapped four of the Hitachi HDS5C3020ALA632 2Tb drives into my NV+ (RAIDiator v4.1.7) two months ago and can report everything seems fine to date with 5538Gb of usable storage.
Now up to 45% full and no errors at all (touch wood).
Admittedly this was a completely fresh factory install with the four drives new so no upgrades/expansion. Took about 16 hours to build the redundant X-RAID array.
