How do I change backup alert password for ReadyNAS Replicate #26317585
My boss recently set up ReadyNAS Replicate so that backup alerts are sent to his email address.
We need to change this address but we cannot find where we would do this.
Please help!!
Hello mrumsam,
Welcome to the community!
Is that the same email address he uses to login to https://replicate.readynas.com/? If so, then you can modify this at https://remote.readynas.com/, login then click View Profile, this will give you an option to change some info.

Hi JennC,
Thanks for your reply!
We log into https://replicate.readynas.com/ using an account which we created under the "Cloud" tab on te ReadyNAS device. This used the old email address so I updated it by going to https://remote.readynas.com/ but it continues to go to the previous email address, I cannot find anywshere else to update this.
Could it be a delay in the details updating or maybe I need to reboot the device for this change to take effect?

Hi JennC,
Thanks for your reply!
I changed the email address asociated with the ReadyNAS Replicate account in https://remote.readynas.com/ but the email alerts continue to go to the old address. Is this the only place I need to go to change this email address?
Do you think it could just take time for this change to take effect or would a reboot of the ReadyNAS device help?
I recently updated both ReadyNAS devices to firmware version 6.4.1 but it still hasn't updated.

Your profile indicates you have a 3100 (4-bay legacy rackmount device). Did you incorrectly register your device under the wrong model?
Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
I should be able to determine from that which model you have.- BrianL2NETGEAR Employee Retired
Hi mrumsam,
ReadyNAS Replicate is presumably sending e-mail alerts to the e-mail address you registered with replicate.readynas.com. Will it be possible if you could unregister and re-register your account on the admin page under the Cloud tab?
Kind regards,
BrianL

Hi BrianL,
Thanks for your reply.
It look like the email alerts are being sent to the correct email address now. It just took a while to update after I amde the initial change in the Ready Cloud portal.
Re registering was going to be my next step if it didn't work.
Thanks for all yor help.
