How to move files between 2 or more NAS systems

Hi, When moving large files between shares on different NAS systems - I find that that the files first copy to my Local PC NIC and then traverse all the way back to the new Share? How can ensure that these moves are taking place directly between the 2 shares on the 2 NAS systems?

I tried searching for this in the FAQ and could not find any similar query.
tks,

You can create a backup job to do that - though that idea only works if you want to copy the full share.

    Rsync is best solution.
Well it is not good for moving new folders. It uses too much CPU, so the performance is not great.

Rsync is great if you are updating a folder because it only updates the files that have changed. However, if you are copying a new folder, you get much better performance with NFS.

General advice is to create an initial backup job that uses NFS, and then run it. After that, edit the backup job to use Rsync instead.
