How to reboot the ReadyNAS OS 6.5.1
I have a separate post about rebooting the ReadyNAS through software (option is missing).
This post asks: how do I reboot the ReadyNAS with the physical button? Online instructions say to press the physical power button once (after which the LED blinks), and then a second time. This does not work for me. The first power press never causes the LED to blink.
This thing really wants to stay on!

If you briefly press the power button a few times you should see a message on the LCD to press one more time to initiate shutdown.
