ReadyNAS 104 Slow Transfer FW 6.5.1
Good day Netgear community,
I recently upgraded to the latest FW 6.5.1, and not until today I went to transfer a bunch of files over from my Win 7 machine to the NAS, and found the transfer speed to be incredible slow <500 KB/sec or less. I have the following services enabled; SMB, ReadyDLNA, UPnP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH. I do not have anti-virus enabled. I tried rebooting the NAS in the hope it would solve the issue but alas to no avail. Can anybody please advise on how to proceed and fix?

Well well well, looks like eth0 was giving up the ghost. Swapped over to eth1 and away she went at full speed again. I actually never thought to try this out, I am extremely estatic, thank you Stephen. Now how do I go about getting this fixed under warranty? The unit was purchased 26/12/14 from S/Express and I have proof of purchase (invoice). It is my understanding these units have a 3 years hardware warranty?

Which firmware did you update from?
Do you have any apps installed?

The log indicates the firmware updated from 6.4.2 straight into 6.5.1 ?
I have the following apps installed; Anti-Virus Plus, osCommerce, PHPSysInfo for Readynas & SMB Plus.
I have emailed the log (zip file) per instructions.
Thanks for your help with this.
Not sure what's causing this. Perhaps try turning off some of the apps and see if that makes a difference.
