i have a Netgear readynas rn214 with 40 TB of data and i want to use a better NAS with remote access
Help me get remote access with another NAS or the existing NAS itself

Zerotier is one option: ZeroTier-as-a-ReadyCloud-replacement. A more traditional VPN is another. Another brand of NAS likely has it's own method of remote access, but this isn't a forum about other brands.
