Install Openfire on Netgear
Via ssh:
apt-get install alien
(download:alien -k openfire-3.7.0-1.i386.rpm) http://www.igniterealtime.org/downloads/index.jsp
(if you use local database for openfire)
apt-get install hsqldb-server
apt-get install libhsqldb-java
alien -k openfire-3.7.0-1.i386.rpm
dpkg -i openfire_3.7.0-1_i386.deb
chmod 777 /opt/openfire
/etc/init.d/openfire star
-------------------------
open IE at the address: yournasip:9090
Then config Openfire
(I have some problems with Internal DataBase)

- 2weizenAspirantThank your for this installation manual.
I was able to get openfire running on my ReadyNAS Ultra 4. But after a restart of the ReadyNAS i have to manually start openfire again. Is there a way to start it automatic after the ReadyNAS has booted? Or even better an integration into the Frontview Addons section?
