Issues pertaining using a used Hard Disk for my ReadyNAS NV+

Last year I bought a ReadyNAS NV+ v2 and only came around to setting it up around now. Now, instead of using a completely new Hard drive, i used one of my older External Hard drives which had some Home media on it. But now i cant seem to find it on the drive through RaidAR.My questions are:
- Does the ReadyNAS wipe my HD or is it possible to access it? and how?
- How do i login to the http:\\ipaddress\admin section?

Thanks

If this is in the wrong section please move post.

  • When you first set it up it will format the drive so yes it wipes all the data,
and at the bottom of the RAIDar screen you will see buttons, setup Launches the browser-based setup utility for the selected ReadyNAS.
