LMS for OS6
A LMS (Logitech Media Server) add-on for OS6 would be great.
I am thinking about upgrading to the new OS but need LMS (even if its obsolete).
Anyone got it running from source?

Radio can play Apple lossless native, but Transporter and Dut don't.
Duet transcode log:

LMS tries to use i386 version of faad and sox located in /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Bin/i386-linux/ -directory and ReadyNAS OS 6 can run only 64bit binaries.
If I install faad and sox and copy 64-bit binaries to /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Bin/i386-linux/ -directory, it still don't work probably those LMS binaries are modified !!
Any idea how to get around this problem?
EDIT:
Found solution, those binaries need 3 libraries to work.
/lib/i386-linux-gnu/i686/cmov/libc.so.6
/lib/i386-linux-gnu/i686/cmov/libm.so.6
/lib/ld-linux.so.2
I copied those from my test debian wheezy and now also Duet and Transporter can play Apple lossless music. :D
super-poussin would it be possible to those libraries to LMS installation package ?- super_poussinVirtuosoCan you provide me those libraries ?

Hi,
Here is link to tar.gz package which contains those libraries.
https://my.syncplicity.com/share/xx3f0uhndf/libs.tar- super_poussinVirtuosojust put LMS 1.0.4 addons in dropbox
- Hi,
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 is missing after I installed 1.0.4 version.
All binaries need that library.
Can you add that to the package, it was in my libs.tar.gz file. - super_poussinVirtuosoWill do
- /lib/ld-linux.so.2 need excetion rights.
It is currently 644
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 117960 Jul 8 13:48 ld-linux.so.2
needs to be 755
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 117960 Jul 8 13:48 ld-linux.so.2
After that it is working as it should by.
Can you do that one fix? - super_poussinVirtuosodone
- Now it is working as it should !!
Thanks - vandermerweMasterI have just tried to install on my 316. The Available apps link to install has disappeared so I tried to upload into OS6, logitech file installs successfully, however lms 1.0.4 file fails to install.
I can't see any installed apps on the dash board, but log confirms logitch app is installed.
What now? If I cant get it to install, how do I get the part installation off?
