Lost all volumes

Firmware 6.10.3

I get the message 'No volume exists' and cannot see any of my data. I find an article,

https://community.netgear.com/t5/New-ReadyNAS-Users-General/No-Volume-exists/m-p/2038985#M44365

it seems I meet the same issue: more than 2 disks are broken during the Resync. Could you confirm it?

  • Possibly a loose connection between the disks and the backplane?  Though maybe something odd with the power would also do it.

In any event, I think that's what triggered the volume loss.  I think the best option is to contract with paid Netgear support (though they likely will require a data recovery contract).  I think they will be able to remount your volume remotely.

I don't know. No one touched my NAS at that moment.
