Cool. Future firmware updates will work the same way. You can configure the ReadyNAS to automatically check for firmware updates. Go to System > Update > Settings and check "Automatically Check for Updates" and click Apply. Also, test email alerts and make sure they're working. I recommend using Gmail: Using Gmail with the ReadyNAS
Then you should be alerted when a new firmware update is available and prompted to update.
